Experiential learning and career planning are key to finding a job after graduation. Our recent graduates verify this saying that internships, club professional networking opportunities, and participation in career days put them ahead of the pack in embarking on their career path.
The College of Business offers a variety of opportunities to explore different type of jobs in your chosen field, interact with business professionals, apply for internships and pursue career opportunities. Keep an eye out for the College of Business MBA Career Forum, Winter Symposium, Accounting Meet the Firms, MIS Career Forum and more. In addition, OSU sponsors Fall and Winter Career Fairs and all students are welcome to participate.
Internship, professional employment and part-time employment postings are listed regularly on the web site and e-mail alerts keep you informed of new opportunities. To prepare for an interview, many COB classes and Student Services and Career Planning programs provide helpful resume, mock interview and other job tips.
If you wish to receive COBJOBInfo, the COB weekly newsletter with job and internship posting information, subscribe here. Employers seeking to post positions in COBJOBInfo should fill out the Intern/Job Posting Form.
