The College of Business provides a distinctive educational and research program focused on sustainability so that students entering the business world understand that a sustainable business meets economic, social and environmental needs without compromising the future of any of them. The concepts of sustainability are integrated throughout our curriculum.
The program's mission is to accumulate and disseminate information on the relationship among business, the environment and society with an aim of helping students and members of the business community answer the following questions:
- Is it possible for an organization to simultaneously have superior performance on economic, environmental and societal indicators?
- If so, how is this superior performance achieved?
- If not, what are the trade-offs?
