The College of Business Alumni and Business Partners Awards were established in 2002 to recognize professional achievements and services to the College by alumni and business partners.
Eligibility
Any OSU College of Business graduate or business partner is eligible. Previous nominees are eligible to reapply. Previous winners are not eligible.
Categories
One category winner will be selected in the following divisions:

Distinguished Business Partners
This award honors non-alumni or companies who have distinguished themselves through professional practice and service to the OSU College of Business, the profession or society at large.

Distinguished Young Business Professionals
This award honors alumni with less than 10 years of experience beyond receipt of their undergraduate degree. The awardee is recognized for professional achievements and distinguished service to the College of Business.

Distinguished Early Career Business Professionals
This award honors alumni with 10 to 20 years of experience beyond receipt of their undergraduate degree and still practicing their profession. The awardee is recognized for sustained distinguished contributions to his or her profession, field, OSU or society at large. Distinguished Early Career Business Professionals may also be honored for their distinguished service contributions to the College of Business.

Distinguished Business Professionals
This award honors mid-career Oregon Staters with at least 20 years of experience beyond their undergraduate degree and still practicing their profession. The awardee is recognized for sustained distinguished contributions to his or her profession, field, OSU or society at large. Distinguished Business Professionals may also be honored for their distinguished service contributions to the College of Business.
This award honors Oregon Staters who have made sustained and meritorious business contributions throughout their careers.
Selection Process
Applications will be rated by the awards committee which is made up of College of Business faculty, staff, and board members.
Recognition
Winners and finalists will be acknowledged in media venues and at the presentation of awards celebration to be held on May 7, 2009 at the Governor Hotel in Portland.
