Inspired by Obama's message, OSU students tour nation to tackle hunger
Students from OSU’s Austin Entrepreneurship Program and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) groups left Friday, June 18 for a 15-city Hunger in the Homeland Tour aimed at increasing awareness of childhood hunger in the United States. In each city, they will visit multiple organizations that are using innovative means to address hunger problems. Along the way, the students will be volunteering in soup kitchens and food banks.

Students in Free Enterprise Develop Reusable Water Bottles for Competition
The Oregon State University chapter of Students in Free Enterprise took third place in a new competition for waste management and was recognized at the 2009 SIFE National Exposition held recently in Philadelphia.

Study: State policies contributing to decline in corporate income tax collections
A new study using publicly available tax data shows that the documented decline in state corporate income tax collections over the past 20 years may be in part due to states’ efforts to try and make their policies more “business friendly.”
